Fretwork Writing Table in the Manner of Albert Hadley
Custom-made Louis XVI style writing table or console. Very architectural in design, this piece has completely finished molding on all sides (so it can float in a room) with a single hidden drawer in the front. It is painted a soft, weathered ochre tan, with inset top having a textured gold painted treatment. Legs have angle reeded detail and dark brass castors, with graphic Chinese Chippendale inspired open fretwork stretcher. A chic and stylish piece.
